Swapped sim tray

When I got my iPhone, the first time I pulled out the sim, I chipped the sim tray a bit. Someone I knew said they'd swap their tray with me, because they didn't really care about the chip. I just found out that the IMEI and serial number are on there, so now I'm worried about my warranty. I have the original box, of which the serial number matches what my phone reports in iTunes, and the ICCID matches my sim card, is that proof enough that the box belongs to this phone, therefore allowing me to prove my serial number even when the phone won't boot?

That's what I figured, I guess I'm just paranoid because if my phone ever just bricks all of a sudden, and will no longer turn on, I want them to use the serial number registered to me for the warranty, since if they run the sim tray's number, it won't be my name, and there could be issues. I hope that the ICCID matching on the box and sim card is enough to prove it. I guess I could just ask when I go in to purchase the extended applecare, but it'd be interesting to hear from someone who has experience with such an issue (though unlikely, as it's rather specific).
