iPod Classic wheel doesn't work.

I have an 80 GB iPod classic. It was plugged in to my Sony DMPort. I turned off the stereo and took iPod of DMPort. Now the buttons don't work. It still works fine in DMPort, and it works in Sound Dock (if I use the remote), but the buttons don't work then either.

Yes, I have tried to reset it, but I can't. The buttons don't work.

I'm hoping someone out there has seen this before. Any help would be appreciated!!
