Can I restore "com.apple.audio.coreaudiod.plist"?

Is there anyway to re-install or download "com.apple.audio.coreaudiod.plist"? It's In System/Library/LaunchDaemons I deleted it to "speed up" Snow Leopard as many here suggested, but I don't recommend it. Certain sounds (trash and entourage, e.g.) are gone. Please help!

Sorry I wasn't more helpful, really sorry.

Can I reinstall it from the Snow Leopard disc? Thanks.

No - these are dynamically built, as I outlined before...they don't exist as stand-alone (that you would want to use) on the installer.

Are you sure you're looking in the correct 'Library' folder..there are at least two - one for the system and one for your user account. You may be watching the wrong location.

Thanks for the help; will try and restart a bunch to see if it restores itself. I removed "com.apple.audio.coreaudiod.plist" from the System folder. I don't see a "LaunchDaemons" folder in my User Library.

Oh no! Now weird things are happening with my printer. I hit the print button on any of the applications and nothing happens. Yikes....

You should never delete any stuff from that folder. it will not come back once deleted. if you want to disable one of those daemons for troubleshooting purposes it can be done from terminal without deleting the file itself.

you can restore it from the snow leopard install DVD using pacifist
