Can I restore "com.apple.audio.coreaudiod.plist"?

When you delete a plist like that, the OS builds a fresh one the next time it is needed (same thing during an install).

I think that it will regenerate eventually. Try restarting a few times. Others report that once the plist regenerates, stopping then starting the service restores the system sounds.

No - these are dynamically built, as I outlined before...they don't exist as stand-alone (that you would want to use) on the installer.

Are you sure you're looking in the correct 'Library' folder..there are at least two - one for the system and one for your user account. You may be watching the wrong location.

You should be able put the plist back where it came from. Maybe if you have trashed it by now, then it is in your trash. Hopefully it will regenerate soon. And, you are very welcome. Ignore the printer issue for now. If may, probably should, fix itself when the plist is restored, etc.

You should never delete any stuff from that folder. it will not come back once deleted. if you want to disable one of those daemons for troubleshooting purposes it can be done from terminal without deleting the file itself.
