Built in speakers not found...

My built in speakers on mac book pro can't be found...

I've restarted, and it's still the same.

How can I fix this?

Sounds like a hardware failure to me. Have you tried running [Apple Hardware Test|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509]?

Well, a pass from AHT is never a guarantee that you don't have hardware problems. I recently had a failed hard drive, yet AHT showed no problems, even though it couldn't find a hard drive. It's a good first thing to try, but not the end-of-the-line. I'd probably recommend taking it in to an Apple Store, if you have one nearby. (If you do, make sure to make an appointment on your local [Apple Retail Store page|http://www.apple.com/retail> first.)
