Solar Powered Magic Mouse

In trying to be as green as possible I purchased the following item from Amazon which when stuck in a window will keep 2 AA batteries charged. When the batteries on my Magic Mouse die I just head to the window to swap them out.

Sure, it will take around 30 years to recoup my investment but I'm doing my part in going green.

Just thought I would share this with everyone 🙂

I believe Apple wireless mice come with the more expensive disposable lithium AA batteries. Standard rechargeable batteries will work, but not last nearly as long. Also, the lithiums are significantly lighter, so standard batteries may make the mouse feel noticeably heavier.

Please post back to report how they work in actual practice. If rechargeable batteries work acceptably, it would be a good solution.
