imovie and isight combination

Don't understand: my imovies show up as isight documents,they apparently replace the original imovie document?? Never work with isight.

imacG5, Mac OS X (10.4.8), 1.5 G, canon 330i, fce 2.0.3, lacie external

May be that was the wrong terminology. To be more precise: imovie documents normally are saved as
'nameofmovie(DV-PAL)'. Suddenly however all documents of that type are automatically renamed as:
'nameofmovie(iSight)'. May be nothing has changed to the document, but I don't understand why the suffix changes. Nothing was changed in the imovie preferences or elsewhere, as far as i can see.

I just took a test iMovie *using my iSight* & the suffix appeared as +clip-2009-11-11 13;57;28.mov+

I have iMovie v7.1.4.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I think the problem is solved. In imovie 6, after opening new movie, there is a panel offering different videostructures (dv, hdv, mp4 and isight). Isight was the chosen structure. This was probably all the problem. If i have further problems with this, I will post in one of the imovie forums. Thanks again for helping.
