AirTunes - limited to certain iTunes audio sources?

I bought the AirportExpress so I might play my favorite American radio stations on the HiFi downstairs. I listen through iTunes' Radio feature. I found that I can stream my music library (both ripped and purchased) but I CANNOT redirect the radio stream.

If I switch to my AirTunes speaker profile while playing iTunes radio: I get momentary silence during the attempt. iTunes shows the AirTunes as being selected, but audio resumes on my Mac's attached speakers, albeit with a different volume. Sometimes, though, even when the AirTunes profile is selected no audio is played on any speaker. Naturally, this gave me a false impression that Airport Express wasn't functioning.

(I think another user, PCK, mentioned certain songs never play via AirTunes. I don't have that problem. That I know of.)

IS THIS A LIMITATION I CAN OVERCOME? Is it possibly a limitation set by the radio broadcaster? Living in Holland I would really really really like to listen to American radio throughout the house.

Henry B.? Anybody? MUCH thanks!!

This is a known limitation with some internet radio stations, with no solution at present. See what Apple has to say about it at Some Internet radio stations don't play through AirPort Express

I have no idea whether use of the commercial application Airfoil, along with use of an application other than iTunes to listen to this particular internet radio station, will help with this problem or not.
