Thanks for pointing that out Carolyn. It's become Cmd-Opt-1. Not quite sure what the point of the change is except to confuse and confound existing documentation. Why this change could not be explained by Apple is completely beyond me.

Not only is it annoying that they changed it in the first place, but they changed it to a key combination that is completely uncomfortable to hit! Cmd
shift1 was an easy combination to obtain from standard qwerty typing position.
Cmd
opt1 is terribly uncomfortable to hit with three fingers, or even two fingers and both require a substantial shift of the hand. This is a really bizarre and inconvenient move by Apple.
What's even worse is that the help menu still references the old command. What buffoon at Apple thought this was a good idea? Now I have to use 2 hands to get to top sites...
Just noticed this as well ... but easy to fix meanwhile: just go to the Keyboard PrefPane and under Application Shortcuts add a new command, choose Safari for the application, type in Show Top Sites for the Menu Title, and put command-shift-1 as the keyboard shortcut. Voila!
