Connecting Turntable/Mixer to my MacBook Pro

I just noticed my MacBook Pro doesn't have an analog audio line-in port to connect my Numark mixer (which my turntable is plugged into). I used to just run an RCA (male) to 1/8" mini audio cable into my old iMac to record into GarageBand, but I can't do that now that I don't have the mini analog audio line-in port. Can I get an RCA to USB cable to use instead?

Thanks,
kopper

You can buy a variety of devices that will give you a sound in port over USB, kopper, but your MacBook Pro 13" actually DOES have an analogue in port.

Audio in and audio out share the same socket. You can set whether you wish to use it for input or output in the Sound System Prefs panel. The default setting is audio out.

Not helpful if you want Audio in and audio out operating at the same time, though, I know.

Cheers
