How to edit out metronome from recording

Well, there is a super-tedious way, if it's really that important: the metronome clicks will show as a spike in your audio region. Basically, just cut out that sliver of sound and replace it with a copy of the same size region just before or after the spike. It'll take some troubleshooting as you go to make it sound right, and it might not work in every instance - but then again, it might.

It could be easier to re-record the performances - unless the recordings are short and it's easy to isolate the metronome click.

Do you know how to use EQ? If so, you can open up EQ and try to find the frequency of the metronome and cut it out. It might not take away the click of the metronome completely and it might change the tone of the voice. However, it is an option.

I always use headphones so that the speaker output is directed through the headset and not to the mic. Now the mic does not pick up the earlier stuff you are recording to. Hence no metronome recorded. Solved it for me.
