Copy file names-but not files???

I have to copy 280 file names into a document. Is there a way to copy all the names from the finder into a document without copying the actual files. I know that I could do this one by one, by highlighting the individual names and copying, but the thought of doing this 300 times -- aaarrrggg.

Is there a solution?

Thanks,
Craig
