Apple Maniak Level 1 Level 1
I tried deleting all the photos manually but after exiting the photo application and reopening it all deleted photos reappear in the photo roll. Yes, I delete them manually in the photo roll, they are indeed deleted. I then exit the app. I then reopen the photo app and by magic the photos are right back in the photo roll...
I also tried downloading them with iPhoto then choosing the option to delete them after the download but the photos are resilient to this process also.
I finally tried to delete them through Image Capture but no luck there too.
Anyone ever had this issue? Any idea on how to resolve it. I just want those pictures out of there. Oh and I need to mention that anytime I take a new photo with the iPhone, its just another photo I cannot delete from it. So now my iPhone camera remains unused until I fix this.

Sounds like a permissions problem. Go to disk utility and select "repair permissions". Reboot your computer, connect your phone, sync. See if you can delete them now. Make sure you're signed into your computer under the administrator account when you do this.
