Send e-mail to all my contacts

make a group in address book consisting of all your contacts and put that group in the "to" filed in a message.

However, be warned that your email provider might not allow you to send too many emails at once so this might not work if you have a lot of contacts.

create a new group in address book using File menu->new group.
select all your contacts in the "All contacts" section and drag them to the group you just made.

I don't understand what you mean by this. I'm talking about contacts already in the Address book. just select them all and drag the whole thing to the newly created group. it can be done all at once.

can i do this in one drag for all addresses or one by one?

ok, got you. you really should keep your address book up to date. that makes it much easier to manage your email.
in Mail go to window menu->previous recipients list. you can select some or all of those contacts and click 'add to address book". note that if you select everything this will add all emails you ever sent email to to the address book.
but if there are some emails in the inbox that you never sent an email to those need to be added to address book one by one.
also, since you mentioned thousands of emails, note what I said in my first email. I'm pretty sure that no email provider in the world will allow you to send an email to thousands of recipients at once.
