GSOD again and again and again...

Hey peeps,

I'm getting a Grey screen of death at random intervals when I close firefox, vlc or any other app I have opened on my mac... would anyone be kind enough to tell me which process, app or driver is responsible for this happening by checking out my crash log please ?

Thanks!

Looks like a physical memory problem to me....know how to check/reset that RAM in the socket? Have you added RAM recently? Are you running the most you can stick in there...you should.

Try resetting some of the hardware involved (PRAM~NVRAM). See this Apple KB for details, etc.:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379

Can't hurt to try, and apparently this has helped others recently.

Did you update via Software Update or did you download the combo? If you used Software Update, get the Combo updater instead and re-apply:

http://support.apple.com/kb/DL959

10.6.2 release notes:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3874

And if still no joy, walk that little portable AND your SL DVD into the nearest Apple Store and see if the staff there can help...seriously.
