Starcraft II/Diablo III (late 2009 iMac)

Usually I never use my computer for playing games (I use my PS3 and my iPhone for that) but there are two games that I am waiting eagerly: Starcraft II and Diablo III.

I plan on buying a 21.5-inch iMac (3.06GHz, 8Gb RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4670), since Blizzard is not going to post game requirements any time soon I am wondering if that system will be enough to play the games with medium-high setting, or if it is better to expend a little more and buy the 27-inch with the ATI Radeon HD 4850 (processor and RAM same as above).

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I'm also going to be purchasing Starcraft II and Diablo III when it comes out. I'm a hardcore gamer on both PC and Mac.

The iMac 21" will support both games from medium to high settings, but the higher the resolution the lower settings you will have to go. I recently just bought the iMac 27" i7 4850, that's more than enough power to play any games out right now. I play PC games in bootcamp and it's jaw dropping frame rates. So depending on what your budget is, you can't go wrong with either system but if you want to future proof yourself 4850 is the way to go.

Hope that helps!
