Movie download taking forever

Movie download taking forever

I'm downloading a movie now and it said it would take 8 hours to load. I've downloaded quite a few movies before on iTunes and none of them have taken more than 30 minutes to download. Granted my internet connection is not the best, but I downloaded a few songs in an instant. It's been almost 5 hours and it still says 3 hours left. Is there anything I could have done to speed it up other than the internet connection?

I don't know what my OS is but I have the newest macbook pro. Yes I installed the latest iTunes.

I am having the same problem. It is taking 4 hours to download a not so long movie. It is so SLOW!!! Is there any way to speed it up?!

Seems incredible that it should take eight hours to download a movie!?

I'm having the same problem downloading an audiobook

I have a fibre optic 20MB broadband connection that is fine, however itunes is estimating 4 hours to download a 24MB audiobook!!!

I have the latest version on iTunes, running on the latest version of Mac OSX (Snow Leopard 10.6.2)

I've downloaded many audiobooks before and they've taken no less than 20 seconds to download, i've tried re-downloading, re-starting the computer, I'm simply having to wait the 4 hours. That's longer than the audiobook itself!
