PDA (palmone lifedrive) and WiFi through the express

I've been having loads of trouble trying to get my palm to connect to my airport express network. After fiddling round with IP addresses (and not really having any clue what I was doing) I managed to get the PDA to connect to the network BUT it can't access any webpages or pick up my mail. Palm's website for this is useless too!!

Is anyone having similar problems or can any one enlighten me? Any help would be great. Cheers

I use a Tungsten T5 with a Palm Wi-Fi SD card on my Airport Express network with no problems whatsoever. In order to troubleshoot your problem, you need to provide more details about your network (security settings, b/g settings, IP address distribution, etc.).

If the LifeDrive's wi-fi works like my T5's, you cannot connect to a WPA-encrypted network at all and probably need to use the network equivalent password (available through Airport Admin Utility) for a WEP connection. My initial advice is to try it with all Express security settings turned off until you can get it working and then start adding security back in.
