Moire problem with Pan/Zoom Slideshow

OK, I have a wedding slideshow project with a pan/zoom effect on the images(slides).
Problem is I'm getting a rapid, moving moire type effect on a lot of the images, especially on angled lines & with eyeglasses frames.
I don't have a clue how to remedy this.
It's not noticeable in Motion. It's a little more noticeable after I render in standard NTSC DV & play back in Quicktime.
After I bring it into DVD Studio Pro for final output to DVD, it is almost unusable.
Any suggestions??

Thanks for the response Mark,

The effect is pan & zoom so yes, there is scaling in Motion. Up & down depending on the slide.
It never goes over the 100%/full size though.
Should I move the camera instead of the image?
It actually seems more of a problem in DVD Studio Pro.
The quality is acceptable in Motion & then I export Lossless for better quality. A separate issue is when I render in "Best", I'm getting a final product with horizontal noise lines in the background. Still working on that so I'm using Standard.
The QT movie looks OK.
Then when I build a DVD in DVD Studio pro, final product is having the Moire effect.

I can't believe there isn't a work around for this.
Any more thoughts?

Also, if you have some input on the horizontal background noise I'm getting when rendering in "BEST", here's a link to a screen shot of what I'm talking about.

How large are your stills? If they are too large then you'll not be able to avoid moire depending on how thin and sharp the lines are.

I'd say if your stills are more than 200% larger than your frame size, then you should try sizing them down.

Also, pics with difficult subjects (ie: subjects more likely to moire) can be softened with a very slight gaussian blur of .3 or .4.
