but can those games be used on the nano 5g? id like to know that because there are a few games id like to get for my nano, but most of them only list 4g. i dont know if anymore games will be developed for click wheel ipods (i didnt even know you could still access and buy them in the itunes store, theyve hid them deep in itunes 9) considering alot of game developers are now focusing on the iphone/touch for the app store

Did you go to the iTunes Store, click on the triangle next to the App Store menu? Towards the top of that menu it should say Click Wheel Games.

I can't seem to find this menu either. I assume that my Nano has to be connected to iTunes to see these options.

When I'm connected, I seen my 5G Nano listed as a "Nano II". Is this some generic listing for all newer Nanos? Or do I have a problem with my 5G?

It might be, but you can just highlight and change the name to anything you want.

You do not have to be connected to go to the click wheel games. I am assuming you are using iTunes 9.x, go to the menus across the top of the screen, click on the triangle next to the Apps Store, and in the US store it will be the third item down. You need to click on the iTunes Store under the Sources frame first.

Finally figured it out. There are several games there, but none I want to play with my Nano. I'll stick with my IP for games.

The reason I had trouble finding the Nano games was because I was looking for a triangle that doesn't show UNTIL the mouse is placed over "Apps Store". DAH!!!

Simple directions that are "lost" in forum postings. This happens all the time.

Anyway, thanks for pointing out the Nano games site.
