clock_gettime not supported

Well, I've got some code that compiles fine under Linux.

It utilizes clock_gettime() and similar functions, which are, I understand, part of POSIX.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that Mac OS X (10.6) does not implement this part of the API.

Could anyone give me a hint what I could try to use instead?

Or where I can ask for further help?

They are a realtime extension to POSIX.

Could anyone give me a hint what I could try to use instead?

You can use gettimeofday() which will give you microsecond precision. Do you really need nanosecond precision?

Well, gettimeofday() is an option, but clock_gettime() can give process / thread time, unlike gettimeofday(), which gives me only wall clock time.
