HL-340 USB-RS232 Serial Adapter.

Hey guys, I have a problem here. I purchased a HL-340 USB-RS232 adapter, and the MAcBook Pro won't recognize it. There are alot of drivers for the Windows XP or Vista, but nothing for the Snow Leopard> Can someone help?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Hi, Fidds. I don't have an answer for you, but if you don't get one from someone else, you may want to try this adapter instead of the one you have:

I have one for use with an old GPS unit, and no Mac driver installation has ever been necessary to make it work. Note that I'm still running Leopard, not Snow Leopard.

Hi,

did you ever manage to get the driver to work for you? i am having the same problem and whatever driver i try i still dont see the usb device work.

Can you help any further or is it time to invest in a new one for Mac? Surely not??
