Moving mouse no longer wakes computer after installation of Snow Leopard

I can wake the imac off the keyboard but not the mouse. Is this normal now or is something amiss?

For what it's worth I can seldomly wake my MBP using the trackpad; I usually resort to the space bar or the return key.

When the computer is sleeping, the mouse's LED is off, so it can't detect movement. Clicking it should wake the computer.

Duh, never tried clicking on the scroll button! Yes, it wakes the Mac from sleep. I just never noticed this happening before Snow Leopard.
