Unlocked Iphone will not run any apps anymore

According to this document, there are no "official" unlocked iphones sold in the Netherlands. So, don't really understand what you mean when you say "apple unlocked my phone".

Did you read that document? No "official" unlocked phones are sold in Germany.

Unlocking of iphones is controlled by the carrier & not apple. Since no carriers in either the Netherlands or Germany offer unlocking, I don't see how your phone could be unlocked unless it was "hacked". If that's the case, that's most likely the source of your problem.

If that's the case, have you tried a reset:

Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until the apple logo appears & then release.

You didn't mention that important piece of data in your original post that your phone was over two years old. At any rate, have you tried the reset?

So, the apps don't crash, just won't run, correct? What computer & OS are you using?

Ah, missed that you are on a mac.

Try this:

Launch disk utility, select your hard drive and select "repair permissions". When finished, reboot your computer, launch isync, select reset sync history. Launch itunes, connect your phone, sync. When finished, disconnect your phone & see it this fixes the problem.
