You'll be given the option after import to delete or keep the originals on your phone. If iphoto doesn't launch when your phone is connected, launch the image capture app in your applications folder and make sure that under preferences that iphoto is selected when a camera is connected.MacBook Pro

I don't particularly care for the non-ease in which I can buy a video on itunes via the iphone, but it won't let me put it back on my mac. I get no prompt to do so, iphoto won't import it, itunes won't let me download it without paying for it again, it won't sync off my phone.
So tell me again, why do I buy anything from itunes when it's a (expletive deleted) to get anything available in both places?Macbook 2.13GHz (White), iPhone 3GS, Mac OS X (10.5.8), 4GB RAM

The original question was how to put a home video made with the iphone on the computer.
If you purchased a video in itunes and want to transfer it to itunes just click File>Transfer Purchases
