Adding Spanish accent marks to Pages document?

Can anyone give me VERY simple directions on how to add Spanish accent marks to a Pages doc?

And will those remain when I save as a Word doc?

Hi nf,

Go to Pages Help and look up "Adding Accent Marks" for a step-by-step description. And yes, I believe the accents will survive the export.

WElcome to the forum.

This applies to all of OSX, the system is quite logical and mnemonic:

and yes it will remain when saved to Word or any other application as they all use Unicode now.
