tyring to connect my oxygen-8

did you ever get this resolved? i have an oxygen 8 usb controller and i'm having the exact same issue. i went to m-audio's site to download the driver; installed it and restarted as prompted, and still nothing.

i did try turning off/on the keyboard, and i could get sound out of the software instrument for about 10 seconds, then it would stop. ***? i haven't found a single solution to this in any forum.

Sorry I don't have any fixes for this issue. But I feel your pain. I also have an Oxy-8 and the same darn thing is happening to me! I can get sound for a minute or so and then it just stops playing. I posted my question last night on the forum and no response/fix yet.

Since I just upgraded to a PreSonus Firebox, I was wondering if there was a MIDI conflict since the Firebox does have a MIDI input option.

Definitely sounds like some sorta GB9 glitch.

I found a possible fix yesterday on the M-Audio website. Apparently if you have a new iMac or Powerbook there's a possible incompatibility between the Oxy 8 and the Mac. According to M-Audio a powered USB hub can fix the problem.

I'd provide the link, but I'm too stinking busy at work to track it down at the moment. If you visit the M-Audio support section you'll be able to track it down.

I also have an Oxygen 64 and when I connected it last night it worked like a charm. Weird, huh?
