Certificate for application submission

Hi,

As i'm about to upload my first iphone app in few days, i've noticed some threads refering to a problem with the application upload regarding the certificate.
I'm asking this now because i want to avoid the problem while i'm in the process.

I can't find any documentation regarding the certificate for app submission.
Of caurse i did perform a certificate process since i installed my app on my device during development and it worked great.
Besides that, is there something else i'm missing ?
Do i need to create some kind of special certificate before uploading my application ?

thanks a lot
Kobi.

Not true. Tons out there.

Mainly:
https://itunesconnect.apple.com/docs/iTunesConnect_DeveloperGuide.pdf
• The certificate provisioning section in the Portal

There are three items involved... follow the guide above

• Distribution identity cert
• Profile/mobile provision cert
• Apple WWDRCA cert

The cert for installing on your app won't get you in the store... follow the guide above. Study the difference between debug/release/distribution.

Relax, get on with the process and you'll find out what you need and have and what you don't have, etc. The same way you built your app... You won't break anything in the process and you'll get feedback if things aren't correct/ready - just do it.

After you've done this one time you'll see.

follow the guide above

Hi KT
thanks for the answer.
Actually i went through the https://itunesconnect.apple.com/docs/iTunesConnect_DeveloperGuide.pdf document over and over and over again and found nothing about certificate.
could not find this word in the document.

So, by what you're saying, if i go through the submission process, all things required should be created along the submission process itself ?
