How do you "clean" email?

I was wondering if there is a simple way to clean email that has been sent to you, and you wish to forward to others. I'd like to delete all of the previous addresses at the top of the email. I get many emails where the only address at the top of the email is from the person that sent it- not including the addresses of who sent it to them. Should I just hit forward and then clean out the addresses manually?

Thanks,

Yes; you can't edit received email.
