Hello sterling:

I do not think that information is correct.

In the support section of this web site, there are numerous articles about TLS. Also, if you do a find, there are, in my case anyway, over 50 hits. I know what TLS is, but I am not technical enough to root around and try to find the information you asked for.

It also occurred to me that the information might exist someplace in the system profiler.

Barry

P.S. I did find a mention of TLS 1.0, but that was in an article for Windows and iTunes.

Unfortunately, it is correct; Apple doesn't reveal this information. There is a reference on their web site to supporting TLS v1.0 on Snow Leopard Server, which seems to imply that there is no direct support for TLS on a per-application basis for normal users.

There's nothing about it in System Profiler, and if you were to search your system for "TLS", you may find an extension named EAP-TLS and/or EAP-TLS.Info.plist, which tells you absolutely nothing.
