Bookmarks - Where are they stored?

I want to restore my Bookmarks in Safari to a previous set using Time Machine. Where are they stored?

I'm using Xmarks to sync with FireFox but I want Safari bookmarks to take precedence.

Bookmarks are stored in Home/Library/Safari.

I don't have a "Home"
None of my files labelled "Library" contain "Safari"
I have the same problem: I would like to restore Bookmarks, via Time Machine; in my case the
internal hard disk crashed, and was replaced, with Mac OS 10.6.2 and Safari 4 installed.

Hajek --

Go here:
Open Finder.
Click on the little house icon on the left
(That your users /Home folder)
Then go to your Home>Library and then down to Safari folder.

Dear Bee, thank you very much. I have found the Safari Bookmarks in records of my Time Machine
(badly legible, but they exist!)
In my case the trip was slightly different from the one you suggested (namely Macintosh HD > Users >
Library > Safari > Bookmarks.plist), but I wouldn't have made it without your message.
