I have a Keyspan UPR-112 USB to serial, parallel and USB adapter. Installed the latest drivers, but they weren't compatible with the UPR-112. I used the utility to uninstall them and then removed the Keyspan app, but when I try and install an older version of the driver that is compatible, it says it can't because a newer one is installed. How do I get rid of the old one?
Look in /Library/Receipts/ for anything related...delete and try again.
There are two locations - one on the top level of your drive and one in your home directory. Most likely the first one is your target but check both to be sure.
No luck. I don't see any files with the keyspan name in them. If I look at the InstallHistory.plist file, I can see info in there about the keyspan files, but there aren't any on my system. Is there a way I can search for them? Finder and/or Spotlight doesn't seem to search "hidden/system" files. (This is my first Mac so I'm learning.)
