Q: Why isn't Symphony Jam Pack Folder not showing up in Library?
FYI: This is mainly about the options for assigning Midi sounds, NOT Loops. Oh, and I'm a total newbie, so remedial instructions please.
I installed all of the Jam packs, but only the Rhythm Section Jam pack shows up in the library as a separate folder (as well as in the instrument drop down box). BUT, the Symphony Jam Pack doesn't show up in either place as it's own folder. (Symphony JP is really the only one I'm concerned about as I'll be using it extensively to assign midi sounds).
I think that all of the Symphony instruments are available to me in the "Shared Garage Band Settings", but it would be helpful to have it all in a separate library folder (like the Rhythm Section one), so that I can differentiate between the great Jam Pack sounds and the somewhat mediocre packed sounds that come with Logic.
Especially since I can't figure out a way to sample each sound without loading it into the midi channel to find the best one for my project.
Any ideas? Would make my life SO much easier to see each Jam Pack content together in separate folders.
Thanks!
