Ability to Caption photo from phone and verify GPS location

So I have a couple feature requests that I think aren't yet available through built in or 3rd party apps. Though I don't yet have any iPhone app dev skills, I might have to teach myself a thing or two if apple or google aren't already doing it..

Two features I'm after..

a) Caption photos right from the phone's keyboard.. hopefully said caption is compatible with picasa / flickr and is just some standard meta data that they all treat the same.

b) prior to taking the photo, have some visual indicator that the GPS location has been updated / settled down before I snap the photo.

For my purposes it's super valuable to have the most accurate GPS geo tag data possible. My photos are ontop of rooftops identifying obstructions and locations (so I know what rooftop area is available for other rooftop installations), so it is tremendously valuable that I know I've got my self GPS located as best as possible before I snap the photo

right after snapping the photo, it's super valuable to write a quick caption.

I'm hoping google is already building something with these features for uploading to picasa. Certainly would be rad if feedback for geo-tagging and captioning of photos could all be done on the phone.

If anybody out there knows of an app that can do this, or would like to be involved in developing one, please respond..
