imation apollo disk doesn't mount
I've a 150 GB USB 2 imation Apollo disk formatted as a Mac Volume but recently I'm starting to have some issues when connecting it to both a B&W G3 and iBook G4.
When connected to the iBook G4 or the B&W after start spinning it seems to "shutdown" so I have to reconnect it several times, but when I get to make it mount on the desktop it shows as a USB 1 device (according to System Profile) so I have to eject and re-connect then it shows as a USB 2 device.
The iBook has 2 USB 2 ports and the B&W G3 has a Sonnet Tempo Trio 133 PCI Firewire/USB 2 Card and Sonnet Allegro USB 2 PCI Card. Both systems are running Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger.
Any ideas?
