Hello,

I have made a project in iMovie 09 which I intend to write to a DV tape via firewire and a standard consumer video camera (or tape writer).

I understad that iMovie 09 cannot directly write to a DV tape via firewire, so I intend to use my old PowerBook G4 with iMovie 06 to do the writing.

Before that, I want to export the movie I made on iMovie 09.

May I ask what is the best possible format and setting to output the movie.

So far, I have been using Share>Quicktime Movie and then I used no compression, millions of colours, best quality, and 48khz audio (stereo). Is this good enough or is there a better setting? Or should I simply re-do my project on iMovie 06?

Thanks.
Regards,
Colin
