downloaded ringtone from itunes, won't play

i downloaded a ringtone directly from itunes to my iphone and now it won't play. my sister downloaded the same ringtone and is having the same problem. i tried restarting the phone and that didn't help any. it won't even play a preview when you select the tone in the settings. it does show up as an option under purchased. any thoughts? or how do i get my money back if i can't get it to work?

Sync it to your computer and try to play it within iTunes.

If you are able to play it, try syncing it back to the phone under the ringtones tab in iTunes when the device is selected.

I am almost positive it will say "Ringtone was not transferred to iPhone because you are not authorized to play it." Follow the instructions on how to authorize the computer, and you will be able to get it to play.
