Address labels

Does anyone have any recommendations for label software/shareware/freeware that will work with SL, and merge AddressBook addresses and make return address labels?

Thanks,
Glen

For me, the answer is a combination of Apple's Numbers and Avery's Design Pro for Mac. Apparently they're both limited in what they can do, but plenty powerful for what I need. You can try Numbers, as part of the iWorks trial demo, for 30 days, and Avery's program is free. Once the cell headers are properly named in Numbers, you can simply drag info from Address Book, then edit or add as needed. It is ridiculously easy to add multiple people at the same address, and also very easy to mail merge this info into Avery's label program, by exporting the Numbers data as CSV. I found plenty of control in Avery to decide which fields would print where on the labels.

AddressBook will directly create mailing labels. Select multiple entries in your address book (or create a group and make sure you highlight the name of the group rather than any individual addresses inside the group) then "File" -> "Print...".

You'll see all sorts of options (it'll print direct to envelopes, or it will print to sheets of mailing labels (lots and lots of common brands & formats supported).
