Is there a way to highlight a clip on the timeline & drag to another?

I want to take a section of a sequence on the timeline and put it into another sequence. However, I don't want to do this by nesting -- rather, is there any way to highlight the clips on the timeline and drag onto (or copy and paste) to another sequence timeline?

Power MAC G5, Mac OS X (10.4.5)

Select the clips you wish to copy > hit Command+C then go to the other sequence park playhead where you want the clips to paste and hit Command+V.
