Deauthorising Computer

I recently disposed of a computer but forgot to first deauthorise it in iTunes.
Is it possible to do so retrospectively ? I have failed so far to establish how to do so. Any assistance would be gratefully received.

MacBook Al 13"; 2.00 GHz; 4.0Gb RAM, Mac OS X (10.6.2), iPod Touch 32Gb

Unless you've run out of authorizations, you need to contact the iTunes Store customer support. Since doing this will just reset the authorization count on the iTunes servers, it's probably not worth bothering with.

no. you need access to that machine.

I have failed so far to establish how to do so.

you can authorize a total of 5 machines. once that limit is reached, you will be given the option to +deauthorize all+ machines. this you can do once a year
