Preview count number of matches with find

Preview in 10.4 shows the number of matches when using the find function, both the total number and the number on any given page. Preview in 10.6 has a graphic in the sidebar that shows the relative number of matches on a page, although the graphic does not correctly relate to the matches that are found. The page with 10 matches displayed a bar for about 1 match while a page with 1 match had the largest bar for the number of hits. In any case, am I correct in assuming that Preview in SL does not count the number of matches when using the find function? If it does count them, how do I get the number to appear.

Hello mimichael & welcome to the forums..

The version of Preview included with Snow Leopard is not the same as previous versions.

There are many differences that some view as a step ahead and others view with remorse.

If you have a particular workflow that depends on a specific feature and/or process, you may want to start looking for another tool, such as Acrobat.
