Can I switch the scratch disk, with all data, to a second drive?

Hello,
I am getting a 512GB SSD for my Mac Pro, and I was wondering, if I put my original 1TB drive in bay 2, could I switch the scratch disk (With all of it data) to that drive?

You don't even need to move it, just stick the SSD in and put Mac OS X on it. The boot drive always appears at the top of the list in the Finder or Desktop -doesn't matter what its physical location in the computer is.

Yes you can... you should use another drive besides you operating system for a scratch disc. Also you should place your videos you work on along with the scratch disc on this disc.
