how do I change the email address my iphone or itouch uses

Please tell me how to change the email address my iphone or itouch uses as my id, I was able to change it in itunes and now the phone is haveing problems when accessing the store because it still uses the old address as my ID!

If you have an iPhone that has OS 3.x then you can change the email address that the phone uses to log into the App store (or iTunes) by simply scrolling down to the bottom of the screen once you are in App Store or iTunes on the iPhone. There is a button that has your account name on it, select that log out and then log in with the ID that you want.

If you do have an earlier OS then you have to do it through iTunes on your computer then sync with your device.

Settings > Store > Sign Out

Then tap "Sign In" and enter the info.

However, you may have to do this through iTunes if you do not have the current firmware version.

I have not tried this as yet but thanks for the info, I do have another question though. If I do this on the phone will all my previously purchaced apps continue to run on the phone? I'm guessing [hopeing] yes. I actualy have three devices, an iTouch first gen 32 gigs which is updated to v3.12, a 16 gig 3g updated to v3.0 and a 3g 8 gig it's at 2.21 I think.
