Ipod Touch TImes out on Sync

It will tell me the device has timed out, and will not allow me to sync anymore for that session, even though it still reads the ipod on itunes. I usually wind up having to restart the computer to get it to work again. Anyone have this problem with the 32 GB touch models?

I also have the same issue out "timed out." iTunes still reads iPod as well, restart is only solution that I've found. However your computer says Vista, mines Windows 7 64 bit, I don't know if your Vista is 32 bit or 64 bit. Also my iPod isn't a 32 GB, mines an 8 GB Touch, 2nd Gen.

I think you've got a different issue, magic. The M3N-HT has an nVidia chipset, and with an x64 Windows 7, Im pretty sure you'd have more than 4 GB of RAM. So I'd try the hotfix from the following Microsoft document:
