Transfer music files from iphone to imac

I recently made the mistake of deleting music I had converted from old LP's to mp3 files from my itunes library on my mac. This music in still on my iphone. Is there any way to import this music from the iphone back to my imac?

Generally speaking no as far as Apple is concerned. Basically once the music is on the iPod or iPhone, Apple doesn't want it to be removed and copied. Double check to see if the music is still in the trash on your mac.

Otherwise I suggest you search Google as there are some separate software programs out there that will allow for music transferring off of the iPhone. Some programs cost some $$, others don't. I've never had to use any so I have no clue how well they work, or which ones are better.
