No. There are only a few uses for Bluetooth on an iPhone, which don't include communication with computers.

If your network operator offers it, you can do Internet Tethering (connecting your computer to the internet via the iPhone's internet connection).

Well that just blows.

Some may say that it "blows" that if this feature is so important, you didn't research this before purchasing. This is a well known and discussed limitation. The iPhone has a 30 day return policy, so you can get what you want.

No that is not how you do it. You import them to your computer as you would from any digital camera - camera and scanner wizard, photoshop, iphoto, etc.

My problem was that using the USB cable wouldn't work because my iPhone is synced with my home computer, whereas I often wanted to download photos to my work computer.

My answer was to forget Bluetooth, and transfer via WiFi, using PhotoToMac.

Set iTunes in the work computer to not sync with your iPhone. The computer can still get photos from the iPhones as a camera.
