no it wont work in a imac but if you had a laptop ya and this is the g5 part of apple support you might have a late 2007 model if it looks like a g5

So I did a scan of my computer at the crucial.com website and it told me to buy the ram at the link below.

It said to buy...

I can't find anything different between the ram crucial recommended and the ram at newegg.com except a difference of $25 in the price.

Hi Naik:
Your signature seems to have changed. If you are seeking RAM for iMac version 7.1, the RAM you have selected is correct. If it is for a model G5 as shown in your Signature it isn't correct. Please clarify.

I have read good reviews on both Crucial and Newegg for RAM purchases.
