Proper battery disposal
just purchased a replacement battery @ the apple store for macbook black - What is the proper disposal of my "dead" old battery ??? thanks much.

There are two ways to do it:
Method #1 - The Apple Store can take the old battery and recycle it for you.
Method #2 - Contact your local recycle center/waste management center and they'll instruct you where to bring it. Most centers have a specific area to bring certain devices, such as batteries for proper disposal.
