iphone showing USB cable with a arrow pointing up to a itunes symbol

My iphone was charging on computer and when i went to get if off there was a usb cable with an arrow pointing up to a itunes symbol showing on the screen. When i connect the iphone to the computer it is still showing up in itunes and telling me that the iphone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored. I have done this and still same message on screen. Can anyone help me please.
