FXFactory controls reside in your application folder.

    Launch it and uninstall it.

    Hard Drive/Library/Application Support/FX Plug/Plugins.
Drag the plugin to the trash.
You might have to authenticate with an admin password to complete the action.

Did you locate the FX Factory application in your applications folder as I indicated?

Maybe the plug-in was installed into the FCP package?

just run the FxFactory application and choose *Uninstall FxFactory* from the Actions menu

if you've already messed things up by trying to manually uninstall bit by bit then just re-download the app from Noise Industries and choose the Uninstall action as above

Suggested that in my initial response

    Then repeated it.

I have to wonder why people don't respond to a suggestion and report back.

So you did David, apologies for the repetition.

To uninstall FxFactory plug-ins, launch the FxFactory application and choose the "Uninstall FxFactory..." command under the Actions menu:

David S suggested that you do this twice in this thread. <edited by host>

Just to give the OP the benefit of the doubt...
I installed FxFactory on my FCP6.0.3 and OX10.5.2. Locked up FCP. ALSO locked up the FxFactory app so I could NOT open it to uninstall it. Manually trashed all I could find which allowed me use again of FCP, but whenever I start up FCP I get a FxFactory Pro splash screen so obviously I missed something. But at least FCP works.

So after reading this post I open up the disk image I still have on my computer and decided to choose the uninstall option. Went into Custom Install and couldn't find the uninstall option. Only Install. Afraid to install again just to go into the Action menu to uninstall as you suggested because last time it locked up the application where I couldn't even do that. So yes you did repeat yourself often and he didn't listen, but not quite as simple as it should be.

BTW, I contacted FxFactory and they gave me an IMMEDIATE response--I was impressed as it was late at night. Said didn't work reliably on my OS and to upgrade. Not ready to do that yet but they get brownie points for responding quickly, although he never did answer my question as to exactly all the items I needed to delete when I was trying to do it manually.
