Java Virtual Machine & HJSplit for Java

Hello

I normally use HJSplit, but have know encountered .001 files that cannot be unpacked with the program... Therefore, I wanted to try HJSplit for Java, but I am a total n00b at this, and have no idea on what to do with the files I downloaded at http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/#java

Anyone who can help, please?

I don't know what files you download, but unless I'm missing something, you should just need to download HJSplit GUI for Java (the download is a single .jar file) and double-click it.

when i double-click on it, it just uses The Unarchiver to unpack a bunch of files divided into two folders, hakgu and META-INF...

Stop Unarchiver from unpacking it. It's not necessary to unpack the JAR file and it's just causing you problems when Unarchiver unpacks it.

As I said, just double-click the .jar file. _Do not_ unpack/extract it in any way. It will, unless you have something broken in your Java installation in Mac OS X, just open and run. If it doesn't, then you have something amiss with Java on your system.
